About

Creating the about page has always been a challenge for me as I find it extremely difficult to write about myself. So... instead of writing paragraphs, I'll just list some random things about me and also things that interest me.

1. I think slow.
2. I do not have a strong preference for coffee or tea.
3. I'm quiet around most people, but I can talk a lot with friends I'm close to.
4. I love to read.
5. I was once quarrelsome, but now I'm peaceable.
6. I've a habit of walking while talking on phone.
7. I love long train journeys, and also love to code while traveling.
8. I studied mechanical engineering.
9. I'm familiar with Magahi, Hindi, English, and Odia languages.

I keep updating this page as I discover more things about myself.

Tech Stack

Earlier, the website was built using WordPress but I rebuilt it using the 11ty static site generator. When I create a new post, I push it to GitHub, and it's automatically published via Netlify.

What's in the name "DeepakNess"?

Literally, nothing!

My name is "Deepak" and it's a very common name in India, and from somewhere I got the idea of making it "DeepakNess" to make it a bit more discoverable on the internet. Silly, but yes.
