#25 Building a Blog in Public – Listicles Incoming

Hey folks!

It’s the 25th week since I started the challenge of building and growing the blog in public, and the growth hasn’t been very upward for the last few weeks.

So, I have decided to publish some really long list-type articles for the sake of getting more traffic and winning some natural backlinks. I believe in the philosophy that for a successful blog, you need long-form articles as well as listicles. But I wasn’t applying that to UntalkedSEO earlier.

For the next few weeks, I won’t be writing or publishing any guides. Instead, I would be finding some keywords which I can collect 50-100 items to be included in the list-type article. Some folks consider listicles to be low-quality articles, but they are the type that gets 38% more traffic compared to other types.

So… expect some cool listicles incoming in the upcoming weeks.
