FSE or Full Site Editing in WordPress is love. ❤

I tried using the FSE feature almost a month ago with the WordPress default Twenty Twenty Two theme and hated it. In fact, I just tried to customize the site’s header and didn’t like the overall experience.

Yesterday, I was watching a YouTube video of Jamie Marsland and came across a video in which he was showing how easy it was to create a website using the full site editing feature. He also introduced a WordPress theme called Wabi by Rich Tabor. I absolutely loved the minimalistic feel of the theme and decided to give it a try.

Now, the post that you’re currently reading is powered by Wabi, one of the best FSE themes of WordPress. I am loving the simplicity of the theme and am impressed by what full site editing brings to the table — it’s very powerful.

I wanted to add a big search box at the bottom, I did. I wanted to add my photo and link my Twitter profile in the header, I was able to do that as well.

Gutenberg is a big upcoming threat to the site builders like Elementor and Divi.

Yesterday, I published the #2 update for the “building a blog in public” project. For the project, everything is going on as it should.

That’s it.

See ya!
