[Daily] 11 Apr 2022; Cooking 5 days a week

Earlier, I had a hired cook who cooked my lunch and dinner but when the COVID-19 started, it all stopped and I had to cook myself. And, it wasn’t an issue, I was all alone in my home during the first wave and I learned to cook everything.

But for the last year or so, I wasn’t cooking! I was ordering food online all the time — for my lunch and dinner — which is not at all good in the long run.

So I have decided to start cooking again! And I’m doing so since the last week, I’m cooking 5-days a week and on Saturdays and Sundays, either going out or ordering online. Currently, it’s a good strategy for me. By the end of this month, I might make up my mind to cook for all 7 days a week but for now, it’s all going well.

Most of the time I start thinking like cooking will take a lot of my productive time but when I actually practice cooking, I feel relaxed after eating home-cooked food and also I feel more productive the rest of the time. In fact, I watch YouTube videos right in the kitchen or listen to podcasts (very rarely) while cooking, and I get a few ideas in the process too.

Today is Monday and I will be cooking for 5 straight days from today!

Right now, at the time of publishing this daily public journal, it’s 9:58 AM and I’ve finished almost 40% of today’s work already. I think, when I start working in the early morning (around 7), I am more efficient and quickly finish the work. For example, if I finish my today’s self-assigned work by 1:00 PM, I can do something else throughout the rest of the day — read books, do random internet browsing, talk to friends, watch a movie, or go out with friends.

I see people saying that they feel more productive during the nighttime but that never seems to work for me. The most productive time for me is the morning time — from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Today, I’ll be working on my affiliate sites, mainly. Plus, I’ll work a bit on creating an email template for the backlink outreach campaign for Untalked SEO. My friend Salini is helping us with the campaign, I just have to create the email templates and she’ll be taking care of everything.

Let’s see how the day goes.

See ya!
