Yesterday, I was trying Slack but didn’t choose it as my main communication platform with my team because of its 10,000 messages archive limit on the free plan. I kept examining options and finally found one – Discord.
I was already on a Discord server but it didn’t click to me that I can use it for internal communication with my team. I set up a friends server and got started with using it from yesterday. We have already shared 100s of messages and so far, it’s going great.
I have installed the desktop application and it’s not much different than using Skype or any other simple chat application. It’s the same with added benefits like better organization and better link preview options.

Today, I will be working on the first client for the blog content planning service.
