I realized that there is not much value in the journals that I write every day, they are just wasting the crawl budget and resources. Probably, they were the reason behind the recent decline in the monthly traffic of the website.
Yes, numerous thin pages do harm the overall ranking of the website.
I went ahead and installed the RankMath SEO plugin, and that allowed me to mark noindex all the existing and upcoming pages in the “Journals” custom post type. Cool!
